Mencken, Mullis & Me

I have always admired the American writer Henry Louis (H. L.) Mencken (1880-1956). An unusually gifted essayist, but he was much more than that. He never compromised his individuality; damned whatever and whomever he chose; was perennially distrustful of authority; and retained a sharp sense of mischief. If I could choose my favourite Mencken quote, it would probably be this:

‘All government, in its essence, is a conspiracy against the superior man: its one permanent object is to oppress him and cripple him. If it be aristocratic in organization, then it seeks to protect the man who is superior only in law against the man who is superior in fact; if it be democratic, then it seeks to protect the man who is inferior in every way against both.

‘One of its primary functions is to regiment men by force, to make them as much alike as possible and as dependent upon one another as possible, to search out and combat originality among them. All it can see in an original idea is potential change, and hence an invasion of its prerogatives.

‘The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out for himself, without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane and intolerable, and so, if he is romantic, he tries to change it. And even if he is not romantic personally he is very apt to spread discontent among those who are.

If Mencken had been born fifty or so years later, he might have found time to write about a maverick scientist called Kary Mullis (1944-2019). Mullis, like Mencken himself, never conformed to his environment. He never forgot the maxim that all truth begins as heresy; and, when his friends advised him to ‘cut out all the whacko stuff’ from a 1968 Nature article, I reckon he would have taken it as a compliment to his originality. Throughout his early years as a scientist, he would argue with anyone, regardless of relative status, which is exactly as it should be. His ‘awkward squad’ membership never lapsed.

In 1993, the mildly erratic genius (Dr) Mullis won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. His brilliant invention, the polymerase chain reaction (PCR), revolutionized one of my own fields, namely forensic and molecular biology. An ingenious means of amplifying (replicating repeatedly) small lengths of genetic material, it was, nevertheless, limited in its application. Most crucially, as Mullis stressed, it is not, and never could be, a diagnostic test for infection.

Fast forward to 2019. Kary Mullis died in August of that year, just before the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a viral pandemic. Had he lived for a few more months, Mullis would have been outraged to discover that PCR was to be used as the principal diagnostic test for ‘COVID-19’. Even the censorship-obsessed corporate media would have had problems shutting him up (Figure 162.1).

Figure 162.1: The outlier versus the out-and-out liar. In this short interview, Nobel Laureate Dr Kary Mullis rips apart the USA’s long-time medical adviser, and proven liar, Anthony Fauci. In 2009, Fauci insisted that the H1N1 (swine flu) virus could infect 1 in 3 Americans, which was yet another example of scaremongering, used to further an ulterior agenda, which I discussed in Article 157. I would not trust Fauci if he told me the time of day.

The so-called ‘PCR test’ forms the foundation of the pandemic fraud. Each PCR process has a cycle threshold (Ct). The number of cycles is the number of molecular replications. 1 cycle yields 2 replicants; 2 yields 4; ... n yields 2 to the power of n. Hence, a standard Ct of 25 would yield 2 to the power of 25, which is 33,554,432. This is enough to secure a workable sample. Why, then, was the SARS-CoV-2 PCR protocol, with a Ct fixed at a hugely-excessive 45, accepted by the WHO? (It is clear why this protocol was never properly submitted for peer-review, as it would never have been accepted.)

The result of this biochemical sleight of hand is a false-positive rate of between 90 and 97%, which represents an absurd corruption of Mullis’s beautiful invention. I cannot but conclude that this ludicrous figure was a deliberate objective on behalf of the WHO. Consequently, for 18 months now, millions of healthy individuals have been told that they are infected and infectious, when neither was true. I am eagerly awaiting the forthcoming international legal actions against the corrupt perpetrators, who will not have a leg to stand on in Court.

We are living in a world of mass deception, engineered, as Dr Mullis warned, by deceitful pseudoscientists with an ulterior agenda. Their strategy, all along, was as follows:

1. Convince people that an especially deadly virus had appeared. (It had not.)
2. Insist to them that asymptomatic transmission would occur. (It does not.)
3. Persuade them to undergo ‘testing’ on a frequent basis. (Unnecessary.)
4. Lead them to assume that the PCR ‘test’ is valid. (It is most certainly not.)
5. Redefine all ‘positive tests’ as ‘cases’. (This is fraud: ‘case’ implies symptoms.)
6. Redefine ‘pandemic’ in terms of ‘cases’, no longer ‘excess mortality’. (Fraud, again.)
7. Avoid reporting data which prove no excess mortality. (Suppression of truth.)

Both Mencken and Mullis would have seen clean through the COVID hoax, as I have. It takes a certain mindset: critical; analytical; intellectually awkward; slightly cynical; coupled with a natural resistance to accept that the overall consensus must be correct. It is a tragedy that those of us with the capacity to dissect this scandal are in such a small minority. I have lost a good few (non-scientist) friends over the past year or so, simply for pointing out that they would benefit from questioning media propaganda instead of swallowing it whole and then regurgitating it as fact.

Be gentle, therefore, with us (heavily-outnumbered) mavericks. We are the only people currently standing between humanity and a world of evil.

Catching Flak

In Article 154, written just eight weeks ago, I mentioned that YouTube had censored a video that I had uploaded. The footage contained an interview with trial lawyer Dr Reiner Fuellmich, in which he outlined his plans for ‘Nuremberg 2.0’, a vast series of international lawsuits currently being brought against the perpetrators of the COVID scandal. The video was censored simply because it contradicted the advice of the World Health Organization. It was neither libellous nor unsupported by publicly-available evidence.

Today, Blogger followed suit and deleted Article 143. Written in October last year (2020), it contained a single link to the official site of the Great Barrington Declaration, a document signed by eminent doctors and scientists worldwide and endorsed by millions of people. Below (Figure 161.1) is a screenshot of the explanatory email.

Figure 161.1: The link to the official Great Barrington Declaration website – https://gbdeclaration.org – was deemed to contain either malware or viruses, which I believe is untrue. Furthermore, the article was, apparently, ‘flagged’, which I doubt also.

Blogger has been owned by Google since 2003. Google owns YouTube also. Join the dots. I know that I am just one of countless individuals to have been censored by tech and news corporations since the COVID program (Figure 161.2) was executed. Such organizations are clearly terrified of those of us with a critical faculty exercising our innate right to freedom of expression.

Figure 161.2: This document, courtesy of the World Bank (controlled by N. M. Rothschild & Sons and a super-rich elite), proves that the COVID project is not an unforeseen natural phenomenon but a five-year plan. Anyone who believes that all the basic liberties snatched from the people (a) are a response to a respiratory virus and (b) will be willingly given back is, frankly, stupid.

The saga does not end there. Since I began writing El Escritor Inglés eleven years ago, its readership has remained steady at between 2,000 and 3,000 reads per day. The website also provides me with a series of data analytics, including overall readership, country of reader origin, popularity of each article, and even computer operating systems and referring URLs (web addresses).

On 6th February of this year, however, something changed abruptly. Daily readership more than quadrupled to 10,000 to 12,000 reads (Figure 161.3). I must have struck an unusual chord with someone, somewhere. Ever since, readership has remained steady at this much higher level.

Figure 161.3: I wonder what has suddenly attracted this heightened interest.

More intriguingly still, there has never been a moment since that date when there have been no reads at all. Throughout the past eleven years, there have always been periods – sometimes momentary, sometimes for hours – when the website ‘slept’. That is, no one in the world was reading it. That has changed. The ‘baseline’ is now ‘1’, never zero. Therefore, readership never pauses. It equates to 24/7 monitoring – or, if you like, surveillance.

The analytics facility allows me to track the national locations of all readers. Since 2010, the top three nations have been the UK, USA and Canada, which, all being English-speaking, is logical. Since 6th February, though, all the additional readership has originated in France. This is, self-evidently, odd. The key question is, therefore: has the website – written almost exclusively in English – suddenly become the focus of obsessive attention of French speakers, or is this constant monitoring being conducted from the UK via a virtual private network (VPN)? I would surmise that the latter is correct. (Message: I know who you are. Your French disguise is transparent, amateurish and Clouseau-esque. Are people like you the best the Service can recruit these days?)

A standard VPN is never fully anonymous, but it does increase privacy and security by means of tunnelling protocols and encryption techniques. However, there have been cases of VPN providers themselves blatantly accessing clients’ data, which is disgusting but, to a hardened cynic, hardly surprising. The Cambridge Analytica scandal (2018), for example, was an appalling instance of systematic data abuse.

The best VPN, by light years, is Orchid Protocol (Figure 161.4), in which I have been profitably invested since its launch in 2019. Widely used by crypto geeks, this is an open-source, decentralized, surveillance-free VPN protocol providing fully anonymized internet access to the global community. It is the ultimate ‘up yours’ to Big Brother. Long live Orchid.

One of my grandfathers, a Royal Air Force serviceman during World War Two, once told me:

‘If you’re catching flak, then you’re definitely over the target.’

My short web articles have caught flak recently – from corporate tech patrol and beyond.

Good. I must be extremely close to a vulnerable target. I know what it is.

Uncomfortable - Unhygienic - Unnecessary

It is well established that face masks do not prevent viral transmission. It is an exercise in dopey futility, akin to trying to repel mosquitoes with a picket fence.

Masks, if optimally fitted, can work well against bacteria (in surgical theatres) and particulate pollutants (in smog-filled cities), but only for a short time. Even the corrupt World Health Organization has been forced to acknowledge that general use is contraindicated scientifically. By wearing a mask, the wearer is forcing him or herself or re-inhale the very stuff that the lungs are trying to expel. It is the respiratory equivalent of drinking one’s own urine.

Why, then, are people worldwide being pressured by authority to comply with something of neither personal nor social benefit? My answer is twofold: it maintains the perception of an extraordinary health hazard; and, more subtly, it earmarks the brainwashed (and the reluctantly compliant). If the vast majority of a population submit to the mask edict, as appears to be the case, it confirms to those in power that control and manipulation of public opinion have been successful.

As I have stated repeatedly in previous articles, the brainwashed are all but beyond redemption. Just like unshakeable shell-shocked soldiers in the proverbial jungle, they will never accept that the war is over, assuming that it ever began. For the reluctantly compliant, however, the solution is straightforward (Figure 160.1).
